the install tutorial in the microsoft website says – When you’re ready to perform a clean installation, turn on your PC, insert the DVD or USB flash drive you created, and then shut down your PC.

if the icon appears in the lower right corner you should be able to right click it and open windows update. another way is to go to your control panel, then system and security and it will appear there. If there's any update which there should be, click begin download and there ya go.

Is it the installation tool I need to use if I want to download windows 10 only once for all my windows 7 devices? I mean like putting the software into a usb memory stick and install it on all the computers.

People out there who are having trouble with upgrading to windows 10. They said keep update till you get the windows icon. Wrong. Go to important update and try find a update with this in parentheses, (). KB3035583. That is the update you need to install Windows 10. For some it might be checked off for you. For other including me, have to check it off manually. Once you check it off, just update the PC and then you should see the windows icon after restarting. Hope this help for all you people out there who are having trouble upgrading to windows 10.
